I’ve been in the IPTV game for over 10 years now and the usual apps haven’t changed a bit since then and extremely stable. Then along came IPTVX and wow. I purchased this right at the beginning when it was first launched and the ongoing development is unbelievable. Even in its first form, it was more stable, better looking, and more functional than all the other apps out there but the developer is constantly adding features (offline content coming next). Any bugs are ironed out within days not months and the developer is very active on social media, announcing all the things being worked on and responsive to messages too. For me, I just wanted an app that had a good TV guide, full search facility, and didn’t crash. This does all those and a lot more.

WHEN I TRY TO INSERT OR OPEN MY PLAYLIST, I GET THE “IMPOSSIBLE TO OPEN” ERROR. FOR WHAT?

The number 1 reason that causes this error, is that you inserted the playlist link wrongly, or if you generated it via domain, user, and transmission, you inserted those parameters wrongly. Please try these solutions: If you have a link, make sure it works: copy and paste it into your browser and make sure you don’t get an error page. The browser should download something (your playlist) or load something. If the link is correct, you are probably inserting it incorrectly. If it’s too long, you can use a tool like https://tinyurl.com to shorten the URL and avoid errors. If you have a domain, user, and password,

I SUBSCRIBED TO THE “FULL” VERSION BUT I DON’T SEE THE NEW CONTENT ADDED TO MY PLAYLIST.

The “RECENTLY ADDED” function allows you to be always updated on the new content of your playlist. Each time you update your playlist (automatically or manually), IPTVX will calculate your new content and, if there is, a new category will be displayed to you in each tab (between the first 3 categories). Content will remain ‘new’ for 14 days and after that, until your next playlist is reloaded (unless you manually delete it).

HOW CAN I SET MY PLAYLIST TO RELOAD FULLY AUTOMATICALLY?

At creation time, or if you have already created it:

1. Go to the main screen (where the list of playlists is);

2. Long press on your playlist; Press edit;

3. Choose between the options under “AUTOMATIC RELOAD FREQUENCY”.

CAN I FORCE THE RELOAD OF MY PLAYLIST MANUALLY?

Yes:

1. Go to the main screen (where the list of playlists is);

2. Long press on your playlist;

3. Tap “Force Reload”.

I NO LONGER SEE CONTENT IN MY MOVIE, TV SHOW OR LIVE TABS.

IPTVX has no control over the content of your playlist. If you don’t see the content, it has been removed from your playlist. Please contact your IPTV provider

In-App Purchases

I bought the PRO version, but now the watermark reappears on the player.

If you have already purchased a product, you will not be prompted to pay again. Just tap the “Restore Purchases” button in the in-app purchase panel. Make sure you’re signed in on your Apple TV with the same AppStore account you used to purchase the first time. You can also find this panel also in the “Settings” tab.

The application offers to buy a product that does not then appear in the list of purchasable products.

In some cases, Apple may be reviewing new products, and they may not yet be validated. Once they validate them, you will see them appear in the in-app purchase panel.

Is the PRO version a one-time payment?

Yes. The PRO version can be paid once and will last forever.

I TRY TO PURCHASE A PRODUCT, BUT I RECEIVE AN ERROR.

Make sure you’re signed in on your Apple TV with your AppStore account and make sure you’ve set up a valid payment method. Apple may prevent you from purchasing new products if you have uncompleted pending transactions due to an invalid payment method. Also make sure in-app purchases are enabled and not restricted in your settings. If this continues to happen, please get in touch with Apple Support as it may be their server down at some location or an issue with your account.

IS THE FULL VERSION A SINGLE PAYMENT?

No. The full version is subscription-based and will include “recently added”, “unlimited playlist creation”, “aircast 2”, “special content” and all new special features that will come in the future. You can choose to subscribe to the full version for Apple TV or cross-platform if you want to use IPTVX also on iPhone and iPad.

Features and EPGs

The channels no longer load, what should I do?

This may depend on your content provider. IPTVX does not provide content and is not responsible for it. The content URL pointed to by your playlist may change. In this case, you just need to force reload the playlist:

  1. Go to the main screen (where the list of playlists is);
  2. Long press on your playlist;
  3. Tap “Force Reload”. If this continues, please contact your supplier.

EPGs DO NOT APPEAR. WHAT DO I DO?

EPGs are a list of channels associated with program listings. Each channel has a name and an identifier. If IPTVX finds the same channel name or ID in your playlist, it associates your channel with the EPG list of programs. You may not have matching strings. Also, EPGs are sometimes taken offline or updated by your provider. In these cases, the programs may not be present in the EPG list, or the programs may have been skipped. Try force reloading or wait a few hours.

CAN I SEE A CHANNEL’S FULL PROGRAM LIST ON THE LIVE SCREEN?

Yes. Go to your settings and under the “Live” section change the style to “Vertical + Full EPG”.
